For this new-build property in Harper, the homeowners wanted more than a finished front yard. They wanted the approach to their home to feel welcoming and memorable, creating a strong first impression for family and guests.

Terra Works developed the surrounding landscape and hardscape to help transform the unfinished site into a cohesive entrance experience.

Create structure, circulation, and visual impact while ensuring the improvements felt connected to the new home and property. The homeowners' priority was clear: “Create an entrance with a true “wow” factor.”

our approach

We approached the entrance as a complete composition rather than a collection of individual improvements.

The landscape design established the overall direction, while the retaining wall helped define the terrain and create structure around the entrance. Concrete stairs and a walkway established a clear, comfortable path toward the home, and trenching and irrigation provided the infrastructure needed to support the landscape. Together, these elements created a more intentional transition from the property to the front door.
